I don't see this as a serious account risk. The OP is actually staying in the room. If a girlfriend is staying in the room with me and pays part of the bill ... does that create a T&C violation?

OP should just be honest with the front desk and ask. I suspect they'll change the name although it might be a little late if they have already run the bills for the night.
