Does anyone have experience changing a flight booking with a confirmed Asia Miles upgrade to a different flight where award availability for the upgraded class is not available? I currently have a Y ticket that has successfully been upgraded to Y+ with miles, but I need to change my flight to a date where no Y+ availability is currently available. According to the rules of Asia Miles, all unused awards are subject to a USD120 cancellation fee. Does this fee apply to me if I have to abandon my confirmed upgrade since I am changing to a date where no upgrade availability is available?
