Hi,

I did this route last November and was back through to the departures area ( after leaving the plane and clearing security ( in under 30mins)

Bags were tagged to HKG and picked them up in HKG.

I also did not need to fill out a PRC landing card that was distributed on board ( the CC knew I was in transit to HKG)
