I am flying British Airways LHR-PEK and transferring to Cathay Dragon (KA) to HKG.

I was told by BA that I will not have to pick up my luggage, go through Customs, check-in again with luggage and go through security and immigration. Instead, luggage will be checked through to HKG since all flights are booked under the same ticket.

Is this the experience in PEK for you folks? I am slightly worried as I only have 2 hours transit time but if it helps, I've the Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents so not sure if it'll make the transfer process faster..
