I did a quick search and couldn't find anything about this.

If I use miles to get a domestic Alaska coach award, does my MVP status allow me complimentary upgrades? I ask because as a gold/plat on NW it does but silver's are not able to do it. I've never used miles for an AS flight, so not quite sure how it works. Thanks!
