Hi,
Part of this has happenned to me. The part that my trip was cancelled. It was on AN, and i flew to Coffs Harbour (CFS) from MEL via SYD. I was going for a 2 week holiday with my family and grandmother.
I rang on the morning of my arrival to AN to reconfirm flights, meals etc (I know iot was a bit late to do this), everything was fine.
I checked in early for my flight and was told my flights had been cancelled as my flights up had been listed as no-shows. I was taken to the next counter to get everything sorted out. Finally as the plane was about to leave, everything was sorted out and my boarding passes had been printed and reprinted a couple of times, so the agent just took my old ones, crossed out the seat number and wrote a new one instead. We made it onboard, seated in a few groups around the plane (the FA wanted to double check they validity of the BP's since seats were changed and new ones were written in pen.)
I think the agent must have fixed up the SYD to MEL leg there because everything was fine for that one.
goodo
