Update!!! Good news!
UPDATE** After long hours of calling Turkish Airlines, emailing, facebooking them, and tweeting them...they finally tracked him down to the hotel. I finally got a response from someone higher up after tweeting. So Twitter seems to be the effective solution (@TK_HelpDesk).
Turkish Airlines failed to document the reservation of the hotel, which is so so stupid. This all could have been easily resolved had I known what hotel to contact. My father who is a stroke survivor was having medical problems when he landed in Istanbul (which is a nightmare scenario for anyone). This lead to his lack of communication as he was greatly fatigued and was experiencing memory and psychomotor impairment. Thank God he is now in good condition and will be flying home today. This has been an awful situation for my family. I dont how i am going to follow up with Turkish airlines...but this shouldn't happen to anyone
