I did read today of another blogger who was admitted to the F lounge (Pier) under the same exact flight, class, and airline circumstances as my own. It did require the Pier lounge supervisor intervention to make the call in favor of the pax, but it did work. Thus, I am hopeful. In the meantime, I have over 10 months to ponder this question before I actually board these flights (Aug 31, 2018).
