I am reissuing my ex-CAI ticket, upgrading from Done4 to done6:
CAI AMM HKG MLE HKG (flown) CTS HKG PER xHKG xDFW SCL LAX xDOH CPT LHR MCT
I want to change the remaining (the segments after flown) but I wonder if I don't end the trip in CAI but in MCT do I get full 16 segments or I am just getting 15 as Oneworld RT rule 4c says "Travel may originate at any point for which fares are published and must terminate at the same point, except that origin-destination surface segments are permitted as follows (b) within the Middle East".

By the way, good friend of mine says once u get back to DOH I can't leave Europe even if its a transit. Is this true ?
