Cbouri thats not good to hear. Are your sure you can’t call the United States Amex Platinum support hotline collect 24/7 since the OZ call centre is closed? Doesn’t sound right.

i live in Australia but have a US AMEX Platinum card and the benefits here in OZ are great personally. Amex Plat and Priority Pass Benefit give me $36 AUD to spend anytime i hit BNE or SYD airport, access to Virgin Lounge when flying Virgin, $200 in Gift Cards for AA each year which I then use to fly AA and collect Qantas points and SC. Im lucky because my annual fee is only $450 US versus $1200 AUD for what is essentially the same card.
