chongcao, I don't doubt what you say--my beef is that if this is how IHG wants to treat hotel packages, they need to be disclosed as on-EQP. That's very simple to do. Anything less is misleading the customer, given the T&C.
The T&C states
"IHG® Rewards Club Bonus Points Packages, and Qualified Spend through IHG® Business Rewards are considered Qualifying Points and are counted toward Elite status"
The 10k rate does not indicate that it is either of these whilst, for example, the 1000 bonus point rate clearly does
