Barely made that connection? Re-confirm your Itinerary.
Re-confirm your reservation just to be safe if you've made one of those OJ-Simpson (Avis TV commercial days) hurdling-through-the-airport connections, otherwise the rest of your itinerary might just be cancelled.
The CO gate staff at EWR popped the seal on a 737 heading to ORD to let me on following my harried connection as a result of an MX delay out of my origin.
While glad that I made that flight, upon check-in for my return I was greeted with the information that the rest of my itinerary was cancelled because I was posted as a "no-show" for that EWR-ORD leg that I barely made.
Though the gate agents let me on that tight connection, proper follow through was not made, and apparently my PRS was not processed. Hence, the "no-show" and consequent cancellation of the rest of my itinerary.
I was re-booked easily enough since seats were still available, but I would recommend that anyone just barely making connections to re-confirm their itineraries with reservations in order to avoid complications later on, especially if the next flight(s) in the sequence should sell out in the interim.
