Ah, well I've never been in first on the 747's so I just assumed it was upstairs.

Who knows, maybe my uncle just pays for the ticket behind her back though I know she's always on standby when we take her to the airport. IIRC the ticket does not give her lounge access either.

Also, their website mentions immediate family can get free and discounted tickets.
