I'm going to be cutting it close for renewing DM status. If I book a trip to the US in PEY I'll just make it. Problem is that I can book a J ticket with an alternate carrier for the same price as PEY with CX. Much more comfortable 23 hour trip but with certainty that I won't stay DM next year.

What would you do? Price or loyalty to CX?
