All went well, thanks primarily to Global Entry & Pre-check.

Another AA flight and a BA flight had arrived at the Int'l terminal shortly before my flight from CDG. That made for very long lines in the immigration hall, at the customs exit, and especially at the post-customs security checkpoint for connecting flights. With GE/Pre-check, I easily saved 15-30 minutes at each of those bottlenecks and was at the departure gate by 4:30. Without them, I'd have had no better than a 50% chance of making the connection.
