I think Award space OZ-UK is normally pretty tight - also don't forget its just a reroute and downgauge from existing capacity.

Ie A380 MEL-DXB-LHR is now downguaged to 787 MEL-PER-LHR so a big drop in capacity which may mean they have not released award seats.
