The room service attendant noticed my running shoes and we spent about 20min talking about jogging in Switzerland, health care system, living standards etc....In other hotels, especially non english speaking countries, you would be dismissed by “ Can I have a signature, enjoy your jog”. This was not an isolated incident. We then had a nice chat with a Supervisor who dealt with our minor problem with an Apple TV, another person gave us the best introduction to the property with some historical facts etc. Every person we met was a delight to talk to.

F&B wise I must admit that BRP was not my favourite. We tried the Japanese Myiako, some in room dining and the breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet had some very nice selection there, the rest did not satisfy our palette.
When you are there, you MUST try Cafe du Vieil Ouchy, it was recommended by BRP Concierge, I absolutely loved the food and service there. Very romantic and down to earth place, 3 min walk from the hotels lower gates.

Like I said, I know very well the FO Manager and GM, PM me your full name and dates you stay and I will be happy to make some calls.
Thanks for your suggestion on Cafe du Vieil Ouchy ( that's a funny name ). Will check it out. My stay is actually for June next year so might be too early to contact the GM.
