Went through at 10:00 AM on 8/21 and it was crazy. The check in line was out the door and way down the street (but no wait in the FC/MVP line). Two seperate security lines went all the way around the balcony and they were holding a lot people at the bottom of the esculator for the line to clear above. My plane to PVR left over 30 minutes late so they could wait for people to clear and they also decided to change the crew just before the plane took off. I usually go to the LAX on the weekend, late afternoon or evening, and I have never experienced it this bad. Even the Northbound 405 road traffic was out of control. Since AS does not fly to Las Vegas from LAX the I-15 road closure from flooding should not have had any effect on the number of passengers in this terminal. I certainly would have second thoughts about flying out during this time of day if you have a choice.
