I caught AS497 LAX-SEA yesterday (Aug. 25)and it didn't seem too bad. But since I was connecting to YEG the TSA people let me check-in at International and I didn't have to line up at the scanner. Instead, they hand-searched then "sealed" my bags.

All told, it was about 15 minutes including throught security upstairs and a Mocha Frappacinno at Starbucks.
