Looking at booking a standard award... the Classic Room with a double bed is single occupancy, so a premium award at 176K per night is required to get a room for two people.

Does anyone have any insight (perhaps Lauren) as to whether the T&C or program rules specifies that it's OK for standard awards to only accommodate one person?

I understand the limitations on room size and rules on occupancy in Europe, but I've never run into this issue before in Europe where double occupancy rooms were not at least in theory available at the standard award level.
