Not been on a connected flight before but thinking of booking one that leaves Heathrow and we have to connect in Madrid en route to Gran Canaria. What would be a reasonable connection time, one flight shows 55 minutes but that seems short to me and the first flight could be that late arriving? How big is Madrid airport? Would we be entitled to use the lounge there if in CE?
Do we need to collect our luggage? Am I worrying unnecessarily about losing our luggage too? Thanks
