This happened to me with the closing of the VX/VS partnership last winter. Were I a bored lawyer I'd probably sue them (out of spite at the merger as much as anything) on the grounds that they intentionally misled us as to the closing day this time (at least with VS, the blame fell squarely on VS doing an IT upgrade).
