It's actually now a Hyatt. The official name on Hyatt's website is: "Carlton Hotel Newport Beach, a Hyatt Affiliated Hotel". In search results, it shows up with the Hyatt Regency logo, so I don't know if that's any indication that it will eventually transition to a HR or not.
