Was #2 really were Etihad messed up with Alitalia? I can't think of a single thing that Etihad did (other than investing) with Alitalia. Did they ever transfer jets? Employ ME-style service? Improve food? Did EY actually do anything with AZ??
The same questions can be asked for Airberlin.
Now they declared insolvency and even though the local news have been full of Airberlin / Etihad stories for the past years I don't even know what EY has or has not done with/for Airberlin other than making them an "Etihad Airways Partner"
