As for the 75D, beyond the shortage (IMHO) of F seats, I don't see the fuss but I've never gone as long as HNL>LAX.
The issue is that the seats are not as comfortable because they are not as supportive as larger/thicker seats and because they don't have as much pitch as they used to and as other airlines have.
