IIRC, the A380 dividers are linked to the power supply for passenger use (ie that into which you can plug your laptop). When the power supply is switched off, all of the dividers automatically lower. Could that have been it?

ISTR that there was a time fairly soon after the A380's introduction when there was a change to procedures so that the laptop power supply was left on all the way through descent and landing and the dividers would stay up. But that seems to have been abandoned.
