The picture looks like a nice room. USA alofts don't typically have seating other than a desk chair or two, the bench under the TV between the windows (which is more of a luggage rack than a place to sit), and the bed (plus the toilet of course). In fact, I've never seen a sofa in an aloft except in a real one bedroom suite.
