May I ask, how do you know it was 100 users?
The MarriottRewards Twitter feed seems to be filled with replies to the effect of "send us a DM, we'll look into it," or "we're working hard to get to all of our DMs." I guess they're busy. A learning process for them as well.
Watch the video below carefully, and notice that right around 1:26 in, visible in the column at right, under "Source," IFTTT is clearly listed, so I'm quite sure MarriottRewards has no doubts regarding the origin of the tweets they've been awarding points to. I had been wondering about the erratic nature of the "pointing" if you will, but the metadata makes it clearer.
