I have been at the HGI Singapore Serangoon in July and I managed to get one of the 10k booking.
Obviously that is an exceptional value but I would not hesitate to come back even at 20k. As a diamond I have been upgraded to high floor and had daily breakfast buffet. Location is also good, close to the MRT Little India; easy to travel to/from the airport and around the city.
