I tried another route on EY too but also result mostly same high amount. I have no experience in redeeming EY mile before so if anyone could share how much you paid on EY or partner, that could be great.

I found OMAAT article of redeeming on Air Serbia and it was about 50EUR only (one way), maybe redeeming on partner is cheaper?
Could catch an air Asia to MNL then do MNL-MXP-BKK. Taxes probably ~50USD as no airline can charge fuel surcharges ex-Philippines.
