Sorry if this business as usual but as an infrequent WN flyier, I thought it was fun.

I was with a colleague at DEN and she was flying home on WN. I walked her to the gate and we overheard "passenger xxxx xxxxx please see us at gate xx." When we arrived at the podium there was an WN employee waiting to congratulate her for receiving 1,000 RR points just for flying WN today. They selected 3 random passengers and it was a nice surprise and delight moment.

Does this happen often?
