Granted I am not an expert first class flyer (just hit gold this year) but after having flown Delta's first class product a couple dozen times, this was one of the best services and meals I've had.
Offered a pre-flight beverage. Before we took off we were offered a meal selection of rigatoni or a chicken and vegetable dish. We both chose the rigatoni and it was incredibly tasty for an in-flight meal. The rigatoni came with a side salad, Italian dressing and small dish of parmesan cheese.
The flight attendant brought around a bread and roll basket.
Shortly after placing everyone's trays, the flight attendant brought around Jennie's frozen yogurt (lemon buttermilk).
We had two more drink services and two more rounds of the snack basket during the four hour flight.
Flight attendants and overall service couldn't have been better.
