I like LOT. I like its staff, I like its on board service. But we should not lose sight that it was on life support only a few years ago. The notion that it can grow to such a large airline is incredibly risky given that LH is on the other side of the border with huge operations at FRA and MUC. I think the people pushing for this really need to look at MXP and how excited Alitalia was about the possibilities that new airport could provide for them.

The masssive increase of passenger traffic at KRK in the past years indicates that the authorities really shouldn't be so Warsaw-centric in their growth strategy. And I would rather have them focus on adding more traffic into WRO and GDN.
