SAN to SEA and SEA to SAN

On the flight leaving San Diego en route to Seattle, the flight was on an E-175. Upon boarding, the flight attendant offered pre-departure beverages and a few minutes after everyone in FC was settled in, she took meal orders. Since this was a small regional jet, only cold options were available. There was a choice between an asian chicken salad OR a falafel wrap served with fresh vegetables and Tzatziki (a chocolate chip cookie for dessert with both choices). I chose the wrap and it was quite good. The Flight attendant continued to offer refills on drinks during the remaining hour-hour and a half left in flight. No mention of snacks nor did a snack basket ever appear. Though, this is quite a short flight.

On the return flight to San Diego, the flight was on a Boeing 717-200 (a little larger than the E-175). Therefore, there must be ovens on that aircraft because the choices for dinner were some type of salad and Lobster/shrimp ravioli served in a creamy tomato sauce. Both came with clam chowder, a roll w/ butter, and a macaroon. I had the ravioli which was quite good. Though, the sauce was a little spicy. Again like the first flight, pre-departure beverages were offered and once the meal was cleared, refills were offered but no snack basket appeared. Maybe they don't do that on smaller jets.
