I know I can get a much cheaper price by turning an uncoming business trips into two returns than a circle trip. I wouldn't use the second half of each of the returns, of course. How strict is AS on this practise? If they catch me no-showing for some back half of discounted economy class excursion tickets, will they come after me, take over any earned MP miles, etc. Or will they care?

I wouldn't risk it for a few dollars, but we're talking about almost 1K CAD, so it's a chunk of change. Opinions please...
