Would elites using this high dollar terminal bribe government for special treatment? I have no doubt but that's probably not happening in this case. The issue is that a TSA checkpoint takes a certain minimum number screeners to function with a mix of male and female staff. Doesn't matter if they screen 1 person or several people. This setup is not an effective use of government employees and likely results in longer screening waits in regular screening lanes.
