I have collected 174K points from my Chase Sapphire. I'm planing to close this account and I have option to cash the points for $1700 USD or transfer 174K points to AA or UA. What is the best option?

I have looked up how much mileage cost on UA and what I saw was roughly $35 per 1K miles. So if based on that, my 174K points = 174K miles should be worth around $6000 USD. So that means it's better to transfer?
