If it’s true that stays made after completing the first promotion and before the second registration not counting are true then I am ditching all Marriott stays for the rest of the year.
A hyatt place across from my office offers 2500 bonus points per stay and there is a Aloft down the street. I may just bounce back and forth for work purposes and take half the nights away from Marriott. Hopefully I can make the expensive nights Hyatt nights and cheap nights Aloft just to do my part.
