Just returned home from Fairbanks, and had a couple of pleasant surprises. Before closing the door, the Captain came out and introduced himself to the MVP Golds in 1st (all two of us), and chatted a little bit. I thought that was a nice touch...first time I have ever had that happen.

He then flew the 737-900 at FL230 FAI-ANC so we could all get a great view of Denali on the way to ANC. Tipped the wings so all could see and provided a great narration. He said we were about 3000ft above the summit, and about 5 miles away. Too bad I didn't have my camera.
