I called the Gold passport desk to get a pin# for my old account as I'm about to give Hyatt some business. I have not stayed at a Hyatt for years. I did mention that most of my stays for the last 3 years have been with Hilton properties and that I do have an earned Gold status with HHonors. The wondeful CSR told me that Hyatt will give me their highest Diamond status based on my HHonors Gold. She put a note in my account and gave me a number to fax the HHonors info. I was informed that within a day or 2 of receiving the info, my status will be upgraded. GREAT!!!!! Thanks Hyatt!

My first stay is coming up this Wednesday at one of the Hyatt Chicago O'Hare properties. Have not made a reservation yet, but it's a definite. I'm just not very happy with HHonors anymore.

Here are few quick questions for the old timers here:

What are the strong/weak points of Hyatt Passport program?
As a Diamond what can I expect realistically???
Any and all suggstions would be appreciated.
