Question: If the airline does not consistently and regularly enforce the cabin baggage rules now, I will be surprised if it would do so for the ULCC fare. Do you believe the airline would be willing or able to enforce the fare rules at the gate and on board? Your assessments are consistently reliable, so I am interested to know what your expectation is.

I believe that PAX will still bring carry ons and have hissy fits when they can not get seats together. The airline would need to make very clear what the rules were and this is something the airline doesn't do now, so we could be in for some excitement at the gate.
