The pilots on the forum seemed to believe that putting the throttles to maximum and keeping them there overrode any computers in all circumstances, as in not letting them fall back as what happened in the Turkish Airlines Crash in AMS in 2009 when the pilots pushed the throttles forward manually but didn't check if they were staying there and we all know how that ended up!
