From a passenger comfort standpoint, the A321 wins hands down. Wider seats, wider cabin, quieter engines. No usable 2L door, but I'm willing to tolerate that.

The older 757 configurations were generally great, but now? It might as well be a 739.
Not that i want to help readywheneveryouare out with his/her airbus hate but.....
since we are talking about ATL-SNA, the 321 (and 739) simply can't do the route.
If the 757 was going to be replaced on that route it would have to go back to the 73W.

*technically the 319 can do it, but like EYW, the 73W will perform better.
