For example, if I arrive on an overnight flight early morning and am checking in that evening, I expect any Marriott hotel will hold my bag until check in time. I know I have left bags at the Times Square Renn after checking out until retrieving it at the end of the day.

As another example, I was at the JW Marriott in Singapore for a few days and had a short trip in the middle before returning. I asked them to hold my bag for a couple of days until I returned and they were happy to do so.
