There are a couple claims on insiders re: gouging in ATL, although not totally clear if it really was.

One references a RI going from $134 on Sunday to $399 on Monday.

Another is in regards to pet fees with muitliple people seeming to report hotels that don't typically allow pets, allowing them during Irma but charging up to $250. Only one with most of the specifics was referencing the SHS Six Flags.

Edit: apparently OP made the same exact post there also. Seems he wasn't necessarily complaining about gouging, but moreso saying they should have actually discounted the rooms for evacuees. Apparently the RC Buckhead did this.
