Will TSA/DHS offer a "last minute" exemption again?

Everytime TSA/DHS has warned errant states that their resident's DLs will NO longer be accepted they offered a reprieve.
I'm writing this on my way to Las Vegas, when I arrive I'll check what the betting odds are.<g><g><g>
