Yes, walk into a (often the larger) T-mobile STORE (so not a mall shack) and ask for an Easyspeak sim, they will activate it right there for you. If you add $25 of call credit before the end of THIS WEEK then you get full year of service. Did that this weekend for a fmily member that needed an "emergency" phone, and I already had a cheapy phone for her.
