I finally had the opportunity to do some experimenting with PDE and Android devices on the 737.

I've previously always used my iPad for PDE for it's larger screen. I recently had the opportunity to try a couple of Android phones on a 737-900ER. The phones used were:

Nexus 5X running Android 7.1.2
Samsung Galaxy S7 running Android 7.0

The S7 had the same error that's everyone else is reporting but the Nexus 5X worked perfectly so 7.1 is compatible with the 737 system.

I wonder if it is Android 7 that is incompatible or if it is the customization that the manufacturer's due on the non-Nexus phone's that breaks it?

Has anyone tried the Pixel, which replaced the Nexus 5X, as both run pure Android?
