Could anyone please recommend the best value way to accumulate 5100 miles for a family member based in England in order to archive gold. He will have a fair few miles drop off next month and for the fun of it he would like to try and archive Gold Elite.

Am I right in thinking that Aegean accrues in all booking classes? I see he can fly from Manchester to Athens for £79 one way and can accrue 3100 miles return. Is this correct? I have little expierance for SQ. Any other carriers/routes you can recommend that give good value for money.
