If you have a confirmed/tier suite upgrade, that is/should be blocked in advance.
This being done on arrival, especially at a PH property - not true.
Ok in defense I have used a suite up grade here and was told by "My Hyatt Concierge" that I am in the system but have to wait till I check in. SO that debunks that. They did halt the renovation of the hotels so that checks that off.
